Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti governor Ayo Fayose, has openly criticized the behavior of the late singer Mohbad's father, expressing disapproval of his actions in seeking justice for his son.
Isaac Fayose condemned the father's rejection of poverty, highlighting the controversial move of collecting and wearing his late son's old clothes. He also called out the father's decision to release a tribute song for Mohbad, emphasizing that traditionally, it is the child who should inherit the father's property and create a tribute for the parent.
Expressing concern, Isaac Fayose questioned the speed with which Mohbad's father buried his son and subsequently engaged in a financial dispute with his daughter-in-law. In his words, he fervently stated, "May the poverty that will make me inherit my own child not happen to me. I reject it." Isaac Fayose's comments shed light on the complex dynamics surrounding Mohbad's family in the aftermath of the singer's demise.
