Nigerian actor and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi has shared an emotional tribute on the second anniversary of the passing of veteran Yoruba actor Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe.
Taking to his Instagram page, Fabiyi posted a clip where Baba Suwe held his hands, symbolizing their collaboration and camaraderie in the movie industry.
In the heartfelt tribute, Fabiyi recounted how Baba Suwe played a significant role in his life, providing him with opportunities and guidance in the movie industry. He shared the late actor's last words, expressing gratitude for Fabiyi's support and advising him to continue fighting for justice in the Baba Ijesha case.
Baba Suwe's words included, "If only I can ask God to make me be your father, I wish I was the one that birth you." He also emphasized that Fabiyi should not forget him and continue his fight, acknowledging the challenges they faced together.
