A social media feud erupted as Nollywood actor Charles Okocha and singer Portable clashed over money matters. Portable claimed Okocha pocketed 40 million naira from promoters for a show in Abuja where he was invited. However, Portable asserted that he received a mere 5 million, deeming it unfair compared to Okocha's share.
In response, Okocha defended himself, stating he was the dealmaker and had invited Portable as a guest. He clarified that he flew Portable from Lagos to Abuja and, after the event, rewarded him with 5 million as his portion. Without a signed agreement, Okocha maintained his authority in determining the payment.
