Celestial prophet Tayo Oke has expressed disappointment over the performance of controversial singer Portable and Fuji maestro Pasuma in a Celestial Church. The street hop artist, Portable, had made headlines for performing at the Celestial Church of Christ, Goshen Land Cathedral in Lagos State, despite the initial invitation being withdrawn.
The church faced criticism for allowing Portable's performance, with many netizens expressing dissatisfaction and accusing the church of degrading Christianity. In a captured online video, Tayo Oke shared his dismay, revealing that he wept after witnessing Portable's performance. He questioned the unusual sight of a "nuisance" singing in a church and prayed for God to judge the event organizers.
Despite the public outcry, both Portable and Pasuma proceeded with their performances at the praise night in the church, with Portable even wearing the Sutana. Tayo Oke's emotional response reflects the disapproval surrounding the incident, as he called for divine judgment on those responsible for allowing the controversial performance.
