In the wake of a strained relationship and accusations of fraud, controversial Nigerian artist Portable Omolalomi has officially announced a boxing match against actor Charles Okocha. The discord arose from a failed deal, with Portable alleging that Okocha swindled him out of N20 million.
Amidst the ongoing online feud, Portable took up boxing training and eventually challenged Charles Okocha to a one-on-one fight. The artist recently shared a promotional banner on his Instagram, revealing details of the anticipated showdown.
The boxing match is scheduled for December 26 at Truth Beach Club, Landmark, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos. To accommodate a wider audience, the event will be live-streamed on YouTube, allowing viewers to witness the bout remotely.
In his announcement, Portable wrote, "Dec 26 Boxing Day, are you ready? Come and watch 'Ika of Africa.' If you cannot attend in person, you can stream online @portablebaeby VS @charles_okocha."
