Renowned actor Yomi Fash-Lanso has expressed concern over private schools enforcing dress codes, including coats and ties, during hot weather. In an Instagram video, the actor, famous for his role in "Wura," urged school owners, especially in private institutions, to prioritize weather-appropriate attire for students.
Fash-Lanso emphasized the need for a realistic understanding of Nigeria's climate, encouraging school owners to consider the health and comfort of their pupils. He questioned the practice of requiring students to wear coats and ties during scorching weather, highlighting the discomfort it causes, not only for adults but particularly for children and teenagers.
