Mohbad's Father Insists Not To Bury Him Until Autopsy Result Is Out

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian musician Mohbad, has asserted that his son's remains will not be buried until the autopsy results determining the cause of death and the DNA paternity testing results for his grandson, Liam, are available.

In an exclusive interview with TVC News, Aloba explained that obtaining these results is crucial for him to achieve closure regarding his late son and to confirm whether Mohbad is Liam's biological father. He emphasized the significance of the DNA paternity testing, citing an incident where someone else allegedly collected the placenta after Liam's birth.

Aloba clarified the delay in Mohbad's burial, stating that the artist had initially been buried, but the family decided to exhume his body to determine the cause of death accurately. He highlighted the necessity of the DNA and autopsy results before proceeding with any burial arrangements.

The need for DNA testing arises from uncertainties surrounding Liam's birth, as Aloba claimed that he was unaware of who received the placenta when Liam was born. Mohbad reportedly made decisions about the placenta and burial arrangements without consulting his father.

Aloba, stressing the cultural importance of the placenta in Yoruba tradition, expressed his desire to know the person to whom the placenta was given. He emphasized the importance of waiting for the DNA and autopsy results before proceeding with the burial, determined to stand firm regardless of the time it takes.

He concluded by stating that, if unsatisfied with the results, he would seek support from the public and conduct a private test for Liam to ensure accuracy in determining his grandson's paternity.
