Nnenna Okoronkwo, in the emotional video tribute, took viewers to the final resting place of Samuel Okwaraji, reflecting on his impactful career and significant contributions to Nigerian football. She expressed admiration for the late footballer, acknowledging his dedication both on the field and in pursuing a degree in law alongside his football endeavors.
Samuel Okwaraji had a successful career in Europe, playing for esteemed clubs such as NK Dinamo Zagreb, VfB Stuttgart, and SSV Ulm 1846. Despite his achievements in football, Okwaraji's life was cut short while in active service for his country.
In her tribute, Nnenna Okoronkwo shared her childhood memories of reading about Okwaraji and lamented the untimely loss of a man dedicated to his nation. She expressed nostalgia when passing through the stadium, where a monument stands in memory of the late footballer, and concluded by praying for his soul to continue resting in peace.
