Renowned Yoruba actor Kunle Afod, known for his frequent visits to veteran actors, recently paid another courtesy visit to veteran actor Peter Fatomilola.
During his second visit, Afod shared his experience of arriving at Fatomilola's residence to find him absent. However, upon contacting him, Fatomilola assured Afod of his return from a meeting.
Upon Fatomilola's arrival home, accompanied by his son, Kunle Afod greeted him with a song. Fatomilola recounted his encounter with traditional leaders, who had misunderstood his beliefs, believing he had a shrine in his house.
Afod intervened, clarifying the situation to the traditional leaders, emphasizing the friendly nature of their conversations.
As a gesture of appreciation, Afod presented gifts from fans to Fatomilola, resulting from a proverb challenge initiated by the veteran actor.
Reflecting on the visit, Afod expressed his intentions to clear any misunderstandings from his previous visit and pleaded with traditionalists not to take offense. He wrote on social media: "My second visit to baba Peter Fatomilola was to clear the issue of my first visit to him, and we also pleaded that the traditionalists should not be angry with us."
