The death of young Nollywood actor and father of three, Junior Pope, has deeply affected the industry and his family. The actor tragically drowned in April at Anam River, Anambra State, while returning from a movie location. He was laid to rest on May 17, 2023.
A heart-wrenching video circulating online shows the actor’s first son weeping uncontrollably as he is taken away from the church. Family members, including several women, are seen comforting the young boy, who cannot stop his tears.
The footage has left many heartbroken, highlighting the profound grief surrounding Junior Pope’s passing. Gboah reported that it is a particularly tough time for his family, friends, and loved ones.
The burial took place in Junior Pope's hometown of Ukehe, Enugu State. Photos and videos from the funeral show his wife in tears, holding their youngest child, as the community mourns the loss of a beloved actor.
