In a recent interview with Kemi Olunloyo, Mr. Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, revealed more details about his son's death and expressed disappointment with Mohbad's close friend, Bella Shmurda.
Mr. Aloba recounted a conversation he had with Bella Shmurda, in which he emphasized the need for Mohbad's wife, Omowunmi, to conduct a DNA test. He was shocked and disappointed to later learn that Bella had rented an apartment for Omowunmi behind his back.
He also shared that two weeks before Mohbad's death, Mohbad had told him about plans to buy a house and had already made a deposit. Mohbad had promised to invite his father to see the house once the balance was paid. Mr. Aloba revealed that Mohbad had substantial funds and that three days before his death, they were constructing the gate of this new house, indicating it might have been fully purchased.
Previously, Gboah reported that in a leaked audio, Mr. Aloba suggested that DNA concerns were part of the reasons behind Mohbad's death. He mentioned that Mohbad's childhood friend, Primeboy, confirmed Mohbad's doubts about the paternity of his son, Liam, during a fight between Mohbad and Omowunmi after his last show.
Additionally, about a week ago, Gboah reported Mr. Aloba's accusations against Omowunmi, alleging paternity fraud. He pointed out that Liam has bow legs, a trait absent in the Aloba family, implying that Omowunmi had cheated on Mohbad.
