Nollywood filmmakers Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, and Jade Osiberu have been honored by The Hollywood Reporter on their list of the Most Powerful Women in Film.

Funke Akindele is a producer at Film One Entertainment in Nigeria. She has had a successful career as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Her latest movie, “A Tribe Called Judah,” is now the highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time.


Jade Osiberu is a Nigerian filmmaker, writer, director, and producer known for works such as “Gangs of Lagos,” “Brotherhood,” “The Trade,” “Everything Scatter,” “Isoken,” and “Sugar Rush.”
