Nigerian celebrity designer Toyin Lawani is reflecting on her challenging pregnancy journey as her daughter, Tinuke Eleora, turns three today, August 26th, 2024. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Toyin expressed her deep gratitude for being chosen as Tinuke's mother, describing her daughter as a "miracle baby."
Toyin recalled the emotional moment when doctors informed her that she wouldn't be able to carry her pregnancy to term due to a degenerative spine disease. This devastating news left her crying for three days, but she remained determined. "I didn’t give up, and nothing they told me could sway me to part ways with you, even though it affected my health so badly," she wrote. Despite the immense pain, Toyin decided to continue with the pregnancy, enduring the hardships and ultimately giving birth to her daughter.
Celebrating Tinuke, Toyin shared, "When you smile, it melts my heart. I would choose you again and again." She praised her daughter for her mature demeanor, often being mistaken for an older child, and her natural flair for fashion. Toyin also mentioned that Tinuke reminds her of her late mother, bringing wisdom and joy to everyone around her.
To mark the special day, Toyin and Tinuke took a trip to Bristol, with Toyin promising to share the birthday fun. She also invited her followers to join in a giveaway in honor of Eleora's third birthday, writing, "Don’t forget to type kingtinukeleora in a horizontal form to be part of her giveaway winners for Eleorat3."
