Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is marking a significant achievement on YouTube, proudly announcing that her film Yemi Alado has hit 4 million views in just one month. Sharing the news on Instagram, Wumi expressed her excitement, calling it a "big deal" and showered praise on herself, the cast, crew, and her loyal fans. She posted, “YEMI ALADO 1 hits 4 million views on YouTube in 1 month. It’s a big deal abeg. I give myself, the cast, the crew, and my fans the flowers.”
In addition to celebrating this milestone, Wumi revealed that she is gearing up for her first-ever cinema debut. Her new film, Queen Lateefah, is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across the country on September 27th, marking a new chapter in her career.
Amid these celebrations, Wumi also dealt with criticism from a fan. The fan had scolded her for calling out some colleagues who pretend to be "decent." In a blunt response, Wumi fired back, telling the fan to "shut up," and asked if those actresses pretending to be decent weren’t also born by someone.
Earlier in July, Wumi celebrated another big moment, reaching 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. Describing the day as "monumental," she expressed her joy at the growing community and acknowledged the strong bond between her and her millions of viewers. She called the milestone a reflection of the deep connection her team has built with their fans.
