Wumi Toriola rains heavy curses on those asking if her new cinema movie is available on YouTube or Telegram

Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is making headlines after angrily responding to fans asking if her newly released cinema movie would be available on YouTube or through illegal Telegram links. The Yoruba actress, who premiered her first cinema production this week with many colleagues in attendance, shared glamorous photos from the event. However, some fans, unable to afford cinema tickets, asked whether the movie would be accessible online.

These comments sparked Toriola's outrage, leading her to go live on Instagram, where she angrily cursed the fans in her native dialect. This reaction did not sit well with many netizens, who criticized her approach and labeled her response as inappropriate and unprofessional.

One user, Glam By Abebi, commented, "What she did here might make people avoid her movie. It takes wisdom to deal with people who have nothing to lose."

Another user, ____honor, added, "This is not the right way to promote your movie. It's inappropriate. Remember, your children will grow up and see what their mom did at her mid-age."

Other reactions included sentiments like, "That's too much; it's just a dumb question" (Iwalewa) and "Why curse them instead of pleading for them to support the cinema?" (Akinremi Sarah).

Many echoed similar thoughts, such as Kwara Last Born, who said, "Why curse them? It's just a question," while another user, Ydel Stouch, remarked, "This is so inappropriate."

Toriola's response has sparked widespread debate, with some defending her and others calling her behavior unprofessional.
