"I will accept it permanently if DNA proves Liam is my grandson," Mohbad’s father reveals.

Joseph Aloba, the father of late Nigerian musician Mohbad, has cast doubt on the paternity of Liam, the son his late son shared with his wife, Omowunmi. In a recent interview with Silverbird Television, Aloba called for a DNA test to confirm whether Liam is truly his biological grandson.

Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, leaving behind his wife, Omowunmi, and their son, Liam. While investigations into the singer's untimely death are still ongoing, Aloba expressed concerns about the child’s resemblance to Mohbad.

During the interview, Aloba stated, “No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me. When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenient time.’ It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.”

Aloba insisted that he would only acknowledge Liam as his grandson if the DNA test confirmed the biological connection. His comments have fueled discussions online, with many social media users criticizing Omowunmi for allegedly delaying the DNA test.

The controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death and the paternity dispute continues to draw widespread attention, adding further complexity to an already sensitive situation. Fans and the public await the results of the investigations and a potential resolution to the family’s disputes.
