In a recent interview on Biola Adebayo Ent's official YouTube channel, renowned Yoruba actress Olayinka Adebanjo shared the profound impact of her son's untimely death on her personal and professional life. Her son, Abdullateef Adeniyi Isola Adetomi, passed away at the age of 28 due to complications related to high blood pressure. 


Adebanjo recounted the harrowing moment she learned of her son's illness. A friend informed her of his condition, leaving her in a state of shock. In her distress, she attempted to travel to Lagos, where he was receiving treatment, but found herself standing on a bridge for hours, disoriented, until a friend came to her aid. Upon returning home, she was met with a crowd and was eventually informed by a pastor of her son's passing. Overwhelmed by grief, Adebanjo locked herself in her house, mourning the profound loss.


This tragedy led Adebanjo to step away from her acting career. In the aftermath, she has been exploring surrogacy as a means to have another child. However, financial constraints have posed significant challenges. Despite reaching out to various individuals and sources for assistance, she has been unable to secure the necessary funds to proceed with the surrogacy process.
