"Remove the beads you put on his hands and neck; he’s not in his right senses," 2Baba’s mother begs his fiancée, Natasha, to "free" her son.

The controversy surrounding singer 2face Idibia’s divorce from his wife, Annie Macaulay, and his newfound love for Natasha Osawaru has taken a new turn, as his mother, Rose Idibia, has publicly voiced her disapproval.

The legendary singer, also known as 2Baba, recently shocked fans when he announced his engagement to Natasha, the granddaughter of billionaire philanthropist and Esama of Benin, Gabriel Igbinedion. He took to Instagram to profess his love for her, confirming that he plans to marry her.

This revelation comes just weeks after 2face announced his separation and impending divorce from Annie Macaulay, his wife of 13 years.

However, his mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, is not pleased with the situation. In a video that has since gone viral, she made a heartfelt appeal, urging Natasha to release her son. She alleged that the Edo state lawmaker had placed “beads” on 2face’s hands and neck, a statement widely interpreted as an accusation of using black magic, or "juju," to control him.

She further claimed that 2face is not in his right senses following his divorce from Annie and called on Nigerians, especially mothers, to intervene and ask Natasha to let her son go.

The video was also shared on Instagram by 2face’s brothers, Hyacinth and Charles Idibia, adding fuel to the already heated debate.
