"I Won’t Know Your End" – Portable’s Babymama, Ashabi, Celebrates Daughter’s 6-Month Milestone with Prayers

Nollywood actress and singer Portable’s babymama, Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi, is celebrating her daughter as she marks six months of life.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two shared a heartfelt video capturing moments from her pregnancy journey and her daughter’s growth over the past six months.

In an emotional caption, Ashabi reflected on the significance of her daughter’s name, revealing that although circumstances surrounding it seemed opposite, she believes that God, who makes no mistakes, has perfected everything. She expressed deep joy in calling her daughter her own and hinted that one day, she would share the story behind her name.

The Yoruba actress declared that while she has known her daughter’s beginning, she prays never to witness her end. She offered heartfelt prayers for her child, asking for God's grace, wisdom, good health, and a life filled with happiness and contentment.

She wrote:

*"Oluwademilade, how fast can time fly? Wow, it’s exactly 6 months since I welcomed my mini version, my precious gift, DORA eeehiiii. Everything surrounding your name, IRORUNOLUWA, felt like the opposite, but because GOD doesn’t make mistakes, He perfected them, and today, I am happy to call you mine.

One day, I will be bold enough to share the little story behind your name, ORIJAFUNMI, but not today. I am just grateful to GOD. May death never take you away from me, Abisola mi. I have known your beginning, and truly, EYITAYO, I won’t know your end.

You will grow in GOD’s grace, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. You will not fall sick, and I will always have reasons to laugh and be grateful for you by GOD’s grace, Omomi Idunumi. Everything about you brings me peace ever since I learned to let go, look away, take things as they are, and be content, AYOYOMI.”*

Fans and well-wishers flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, celebrating the little girl’s milestone and showering prayers on mother and child.
