Nollywood actor turned preacher, Woli Arole, has issued a serious warning to Christians about the rising influence of money in today’s churches.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Woli Arole expressed concern that mammon — the worship of money — is gradually creeping into church culture. He observed that many churches are now more focused on wealth and material gain than on the true message of salvation.
He reminded believers that Jesus Christ did not die for them to become rich, but rather to give them eternal life. Calling for urgent spiritual awareness, he urged Christians to wake up and refocus on their faith.
“I say this as God’s prophet: Mammon is already creaking into the church, the talk of money, the worship of money. Christ did not die so we could become rich; He died so we could have eternal life. Wake up, oh saints. Share this message!!”
His message has sparked conversation online, with many reflecting on the growing emphasis on wealth in religious settings.
