Emotional Moment as Nollywood Actress Jumoke George Reunites with Missing Daughter After Four Years

It is a time of great joy for veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George, as she has finally been reunited with her daughter, Adeola, who went missing four years ago.

In a past interview with actress Biola Adebayo, Jumoke revealed that her daughter, 41-year-old Adeola, had been missing for four years and all efforts to contact her had failed. At the time, Biola mentioned on Instagram that Adeola had been spotted in Mali, but she had not yet spoken to her mother and was not responding to calls.

However, in a major update on Monday, the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced via her Twitter page that Adeola had been safely rescued from Mali, where she had been trafficked, and had now returned to Nigeria.

Dabiri wrote:

“Breaking! Adeola, daughter of popular actress Jumoke George, who cried out that she had not heard from her daughter in four years, is back home from Mali, where she was trafficked. We just received her, with Biola Adebayo, who broke the story, and Niyi Johnson. Details later!”

In a video now circulating online, an emotional reunion was captured as Jumoke George held her daughter tightly while sitting on the ground, overcome with emotion.

Adeola also expressed appreciation for Biola Adebayo and actor Adeniyi Johnson for their humanitarian efforts and for helping make her return possible.

The heartwarming reunion has stirred emotional reactions online and serves as a strong reminder of the dangers of human trafficking and the importance of advocacy and support in reuniting families.
