Nollywood actress Biola Bayo is being praised by fans and colleagues for helping veteran actress Jumoke George reunite with her missing daughter, Adeola, after four years.
In a past interview with Biola Bayo, Jumoke tearfully revealed that her 41-year-old daughter had been missing and all attempts to contact her had failed. Later, Biola shared on Instagram that Adeola had been located in Mali, though she hadn’t spoken to her mother at the time.
On Monday, the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced on Twitter that Adeola had finally been brought back to Nigeria. She confirmed that Adeola was a victim of human trafficking in Mali and had been safely rescued. Adeola also thanked Biola Bayo and actor Adeniyi Johnson for their humanitarian efforts.
A touching video posted on Biola’s Instagram shows an emotional reunion between Jumoke George and her daughter. Jumoke was seen sitting on the ground, holding her daughter tightly in tears.
