"Don’t make us hate you," Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi warns Priscilla Ojo.

Popular Tanzanian media personality, Mange Kimambi, has issued a strong warning to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo following her publicized relationship with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

In a lengthy post shared on Instagram, Mange urged Priscilla and her mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, to avoid posting romantic photos or videos with Juma Jux during this politically sensitive period in Tanzania. The country is preparing for upcoming elections, and Mange stressed that the people are deeply focused on fighting for their rights and demanding accountability from the government.

Mange expressed concern that celebrity content could serve as a distraction to Tanzanians during this critical time. She pleaded with Priscilla to avoid sharing "irrelevant" or "silly" content for the next five months until the elections are over.

“Your Tanzanian in-laws love you, and we’ve welcomed you with open arms,” Mange wrote. “But we are in the fight of our lives. The government wants distractions like your love posts with Jux, but we need our people focused. Please don’t derail the movement.”

Mange also asked that Priscilla keep Jux out of public posts during their upcoming trip to London and even advised them to move their couple-related content to Nigeria if needed. She included a message for Juma Jux to tell his friend and fellow artist, Diamond Platnumz, to also stay low-profile during this period.

Though her message was firm, Mange reassured Priscilla that Tanzanians still love and appreciate her. “We adore you and love Nigerians, but this is a critical time for our country,” she concluded.

The post has stirred mixed reactions online, with many Tanzanians praising Mange for her boldness, while others urged for a more balanced approach between activism and entertainment.
