Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has expressed deep appreciation after top Nigerian dignitaries, including former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, attended the premiere of his father’s cinema debut film, Her Excellency.


The event, which took place at IMAX Cinemas in Lekki, was organized to mark Adebayo Salami's 60th year in the Nigerian film industry. Adebayo Salami, also known as Oga Bello, is widely regarded as a pioneer in Yoruba Nollywood.


Femi Adebayo, sharing highlights from the star-studded premiere on his social media, described the moment as "nothing short of grand", calling it a true celebration of legacy, excellence, and unforgettable cinema.


“Super excited to receive the Honourable Governor of Kwara State – H.E. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Former Governor of Lagos State – H.E. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN at the star-studded premiere of Her Excellency,” he wrote.


He thanked the dignitaries for their presence, support, and honour, emphasizing how humbled he was by their attendance.


The premiere of Her Excellency marks a major milestone for the Adebayo family and a proud moment for Nigerian cinema.
