Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has shared a heartfelt message with fans as she officially unveiled the latest installment of her movie project, "Konge 3".
In an emotional Instagram post, the award-winning actress posted a video of herself crying on set, revealing that she broke down in tears immediately after filming wrapped. According to her, the experience was physically and emotionally draining.
“Shooting Konge was a journey. I was in the middle of a medical procedure. I was sick and tired. Yet, the character still shook me — it was a lot,” she wrote.
Wumi also used the opportunity to reflect on life’s unexpected challenges, expressing sympathy for anyone going through difficult situations. She described such moments as “happenstances”—incidents we don’t plan but suddenly face—and prayed that they don’t lead to tragic outcomes.
“Some of these unexpected events have led people to greatness, while others have caused serious setbacks. I pray we don’t become victims of tragic happenstances,” she added.
The actress encouraged anyone going through a rough time, assuring them that tough seasons will pass and joy will come again.
“To anyone going through a hard time, I encourage you and say — surely, it will pass and you will soon leap for joy.”
Wumi Toriola ended her post by urging fans to watch Konge 1, 2, and 3, while also thanking her cast for their hard work and dedication to the project.
