Political commentator and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has thrown shade at Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, for visiting the home of late former President Muhammadu Buhari a day after his burial.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Reno sarcastically described Obi’s visit as "Medicine After Death", a popular phrase used to mock late or pointless actions.
The jab has stirred mixed reactions online, with some users accusing Reno of being unnecessarily critical, while others supported his comment, saying Obi’s visit came too late to make any political or personal impact.
The post has further fueled the ongoing social media rivalry between supporters of both political figures, as debates over timing, respect, and political motives continue to trend.
