Yoruba Actor Oluwole Akeem Cole, a.k.a. Alhaji Baraka, Debunks Viral Claim of Assault by Faithia Williams

Nollywood Yoruba actor Oluwole Akeem Cole, popularly known as Alhaji Baraka, has broken his silence over a viral report accusing actress Faithia Williams (formerly Balogun) of assaulting him.

According to a controversial blog post, Faithia allegedly tied him down and beat him nearly to death, an allegation that quickly made rounds on social media.

Responding in a video shared online, Baraka strongly denied the claims, questioning how such a thing could even be possible at his age and stature. He expressed disbelief at the story and condemned the bloggers behind the falsehood.

“At this my big age, someone said Faithia Balogun tied me down and almost beat me to death? Some bloggers don’t think before posting. This kind of rumor can turn people against each other,” he said.

Fuming with anger, the actor laid curses on the bloggers, saying that just as they falsely claimed he was tied and beaten, God would tie them down and deal with them accordingly.

“If God will tie you down, you’ll collect the kind of beating you spoke about. Unfortunate bloggers,” he added.

The video has since drawn mixed reactions online, with fans expressing shock over the fake news and many praising Baraka for speaking out to clear the air.
