Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has shared a powerful piece of advice for men on the importance of choosing the right partner.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Rita stressed that a good woman is more valuable than riches. According to her, such a woman lifts her husband, protects his image, and adds honour to his crown. Using her own husband, Comrade Tony Edochie, as an example, she described a good wife as a blessing that builds her man.
On the other hand, Rita warned that a bad woman destroys her partner by draining his strength, mocking his vision, and turning his glory into shame. She cautioned men to be careful in their choices because the partner they marry will determine whether they rise as kings or fall as jesters.
Her advice also emphasized the importance of character over beauty. She lamented that infidelity has blinded many men from appreciating their legal wives, urging men to seek virtue instead of vanity.
“A good woman will give you a crown, a bad one will make you a clown. A good woman is a blessing beyond riches… but a bad woman drains his strength, mocks his vision, and turns his glory into shame. Choose wisely. Marry character, not just beauty,” she wrote.
Rita’s post has since attracted reactions from fans, with many praising her for speaking boldly on an issue they say is destroying marriages today.
