“Even Nollywood Has Never Paid Me Such an Amount Per Film” – Bolanle Ninalowo Reacts as Impersonator Defrauds Lady of ₦33 Million

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has expressed shock after discovering that a fraudster impersonating him scammed a woman of ₦33 million.

The victim, identified as Victoria Yemisi Ayano, filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against the suspect, Bolanle Azeez, accusing him of obtaining money from her under false pretence and cyber fraud.

Reacting on social media, Ninalowo said he could not believe the huge amount involved, joking that even as a successful Nollywood actor, he has never earned ₦33 million from a single movie. He questioned what kind of “juju” (charm) the impersonator used on the woman, stressing that the entire case was shocking.

His words partly read:

“N₦33,000,000 for wetin? Even Nollywood wey blow me never pay me N33M per film. Which kind juju be this?”

The actor further expressed that such incidents only highlight the growing problem of online fraudsters exploiting the names of celebrities to deceive unsuspecting victims.
