Nigerian celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci has revealed new details about her upcoming record-breaking attempt to cook the largest pot of Jollof rice.
In a video shared on her page, Hilda broke down the math behind the massive cooking project, explaining that it will require 250 bags of rice, alongside large quantities of tomato paste and other ingredients.
The attempt is scheduled for September 12, 2025, and will feature a gigantic pot measuring six meters in width and height.
Sharing the update, Hilda wrote:
“The biggest question since I announced—HOW MUCH RICE? Jollof this big doesn’t happen without math. From raw rice to tomato paste, every grain counts! Come 12th September, we will all see it come together.”
Her post has since generated excitement online, with many fans eager to witness what could become another historic food record for Nigeria.
