As rumors of a marital crisis between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, continue to make headlines, social media users have resurfaced an old post made by her father, Barrister Jude Ojeogwu, showing his strong disapproval of their marriage.
In the resurfaced statement, Ojeogwu clarified that Regina is his biological daughter and revealed that her marriage to the senator was done without his knowledge or consent. He expressed disappointment that all efforts by Ned Nwoko to engage him in discussions about the relationship had failed, despite their previous acquaintance when they lived on the same street in Lagos.
He also criticized Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, for leading what he described as a “dangerous path,” urging her to retrace her steps. Ojeogwu further described Regina’s initiation into the Otu Odu women’s group as something “completely strange” to his daughter’s upbringing, insisting that Regina hails from Ogwashi-Uku and not Olor, as widely rumored.
The old post ended with Ojeogwu asserting his right as her father and confirming he is still alive, saying:
“I have tried to exercise restraint, but Regina’s mother kept pushing me to the wall. I am alive and not dead. If in doubt of this post, call Barrister Jude Ojeogwu.”
The post has now resurfaced as fans continue to speculate about the actress’s marriage following reports of alleged domestic issues in her home.
