Annie Idibia Speaks Out After Liking Laila Charani’s Post – ‘It Was a Mistake!’

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has addressed the backlash she received for liking a post by Laila Charani, one of Regina Daniels’ co-wives. Laila had claimed that Regina’s conflicts with her husband, Ned Nwoko, were linked to his desire for her to stop alleged drug and alcohol use. Laila also alleged that she introduced Regina to drugs six years ago and that Ned had to rescue her.

Many fans assumed Annie was supporting Laila’s claims when she liked the post. However, Annie quickly clarified that it was a mistake. She reassured fans that she is loyal to Regina and always has her back. “In the process of reading the rubbish that was alleged about my baby, Regina, I liked the post mistakenly. Over here, we don’t play with loyalty, and my baby knows I have her back, front, and side. Make una rest abeg,” she said.

Annie has consistently shown support for Regina over the years. Last month, she praised Regina as a young queen with a golden heart. She has also applauded Regina’s parenting skills, especially when Regina’s sons celebrated their birthdays in June.

Following her separation from her husband, Annie has been spending time with Regina and her family. She recently visited Regina and Ned at their Abuja home, warmly greeting them and attending official duties with the couple, including a visit to the National Youth Service Corps headquarters to meet the new Director General.
