Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has continued revealing details about her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko. In a series of posts, she thanked Omoyele Sowore for supporting her, noting that even her husband’s fiercest critics are now fighting alongside her. She said this both saddens and comforts her.
Daniels disclosed that she became pregnant before marrying Ned, which led to their quick wedding. She revealed that she had to terminate the pregnancy without her mother’s consent, with the help of a friend, Ann—an action that Ned reportedly resents to this day.
She wrote:
"I was the foolish one who got pregnant by the mad man, hence the quick marriage… That’s why he hates Ann, because she made me remove it before my mum knew… I’m a pained ex that just wants to be free."
Regina also addressed allegations about substance use, pointing out the irony in Ned demanding she attend rehab while he allegedly encouraged her to take drugs to be “sexier, wild, and romantic.” She further accused him of forcing himself on her, controlling her communications, and labeling her mentally unstable when she resisted him.
Her brother, Sweezy, had previously accused Ned of instigating conflicts between his wives and trying to get multiple wives pregnant simultaneously. Meanwhile, actress Doris Ogala hinted at the senator’s alleged sexual fantasies and habits during prayers, warning others about marrying men with similar tendencies.
Regina concluded by clarifying that her drug use was under Ned’s influence and questioned the claims that she was involved in drugs before their marriage at age 17.
