Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has ignited controversy after claiming he possesses a video that reportedly shows how the late singer Mohbad was killed. According to Yomi, the video was sent to him by Mohbad’s younger brother, allegedly in an attempt to request money.
Taking to Instagram, the actor said he is “putting his life on the line to make sure justice is done”, adding that the video “proves what really happened, and it cannot be ignored.” He emphasized that he “will not stay silent while the truth is hidden and those responsible go unpunished.”
Yomi called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene, citing “murder evidence and confession” in the footage. He named Wunmi Cynthia and others as suspects, stressing the importance of accountability and justice.
In his post, Yomi further stated:
“They want to silence me and use the video against you in the next election, your excellency. Please look into this matter.”
His claim has reignited public interest in Mohbad’s death, raising questions over whether this new alleged evidence will push the investigation forward.
