Anthony Joshua Knocks Out Jake Paul in Sixth Round Fight in Miami

British boxing star Anthony Joshua recorded a sixth-round knockout victory over YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in their highly anticipated fight in Miami.

The bout, held at the Kaseya Center, was scheduled for eight rounds. Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion, did not have an easy start, as he struggled to fully control Paul in the early rounds. Jake Paul moved around the ring and tried to avoid Joshua’s power punches, making it difficult for the former champion to land clean shots.

However, the fight came to a dramatic end in the sixth round when Joshua landed a powerful right hand that knocked Paul down near the ropes. Paul, who had already been struggling to keep his balance during the fight, attempted to stand up but was unsteady on his feet. The referee immediately stopped the contest, ruling a knockout.

Reports later revealed that Jake Paul suffered a broken jaw from the punch.

Speaking after the fight, Joshua admitted that the bout was not his best performance. The 36-year-old boxer said he had expected to end the fight much earlier, given Paul’s limited experience in professional boxing.

Despite the slower start, Joshua’s victory reinforced the clear gap in experience and power between the seasoned heavyweight champion and his novice opponent.
