Doris Ogala Speaks on Alleged Past Relationship With Pastor Chris Okafor (Video)

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared her side of the ongoing controversy involving Pastor Chris Okafor during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze.

According to Doris, her relationship with Pastor Chris began in 2017 after they met by chance in Abuja. She claimed that at the time, he told her he was divorced and that she did not initially know he was a pastor. Doris said the relationship quickly became serious, adding that he introduced her to his parents, took her to his village in Anambra State, and treated her as a committed partner.

The actress described the relationship as genuine and deeply personal, insisting it was built on real love and not a casual affair. She further alleged that while Pastor Chris preached publicly, he depended heavily on her in private. Doris claimed he frequently called her, shared personal struggles, and even relied on her to get medical prescriptions through her doctor.

Explaining why she later married another man, Doris said family pressure played a major role. She stated that her husband was someone from her past who reappeared during a difficult period following her father’s death. Although she said she was not in love, she claimed her family pushed her into the marriage.

Doris admitted that while she was married, she remained emotionally connected to Pastor Chris. She acknowledged having intimate phone conversations with him but insisted there was no physical sexual relationship during her marriage. She described the marriage as toxic and abusive, alleging repeated physical and emotional abuse, and said Pastor Chris remained her emotional support during that time.

The actress also claimed she has evidence to support her allegations, including chats and videos, which she said Pastor Chris later handed over to his lawyers.

The controversy has continued to spark intense debate online, with many Nigerians sharing mixed reactions as more details emerge.
