Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared a powerful testimony about her journey to healing and freedom from addiction and other personal struggles.
The actress spoke during the Sunday service on December 14 at Pastor Jerry Eze’s church, where she openly talked about her past and how God helped her overcome many challenges in her life.
Tonto revealed that she started smoking at the age of 13, influenced by her father, and remained addicted for 27 years before she was finally set free. She also shared that she struggled with alcoholism, often drinking large bottles of vodka until she passed out. According to her, she no longer smokes or drinks.
In her testimony, the actress said she was also delivered from masturbation and healed from a severe back pain that had troubled her for about 20 years. She explained that the pain has completely stopped, describing it as a miracle.
Reflecting on her past, Tonto admitted that she once took part in certain spiritual practices and worshipped at altars she now believes were not meant for her. She said she has since gained clarity about her faith, identity, and spiritual direction.
She also spoke about having disturbing sexual encounters in her dreams, which she described as a “spiritual husband.” According to her, after attending a spiritual conference in Ghana, those experiences stopped completely and have not returned.
Many worshippers present were moved by her testimony, as Tonto encouraged others to believe in healing, deliverance, and personal transformation.
