Nollywood actor Austine Emmanuel has publicly criticised Seyi Tinubu, accusing him of focusing more on his father’s political future than on the legacy he will leave behind.
In a strong statement, Emmanuel warned Seyi that many people around him may not be sincere. According to the actor, those in his circle are only interested in his wealth and influence, adding that the support he believes he has is not genuine but based on “fake love.”
He further argued that if Bola Tinubu had truly performed well in office, there would be no need to seek or “buy” public support. Emmanuel stressed that good leadership would naturally earn the trust and backing of the people.
The actor also took a swipe at popular socialites, including Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest, accusing them of misleading Seyi. He claimed that despite their public show of support, they may not stand by him or his father when it truly matters, especially during elections.
Concluding his remarks, Austine Emmanuel painted a worrying picture of the country’s situation. He stated that many Nigerians are struggling, citing lack of food, insecurity, and financial hardship. According to him, if the president had made even a small positive impact on the lives of ordinary citizens, the situation and public perception would be very different.
