Tinubu Acknowledges Fuel Price Burden, Promises Relief Measures for Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has admitted that he is aware of the hardship caused by rising fuel prices across the country and has begun efforts to reduce the impact on citizens.

This was disclosed during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Dutse by Umar Namadi, who addressed residents after hosting the Emir of Dutse and other traditional leaders.

According to the governor, the president is concerned about the situation and has already initiated measures to ease the burden, especially by working to reduce transportation costs nationwide.

He explained that the recent increase in fuel prices, partly linked to developments in the Middle East, has added pressure on Nigerians, affecting both transportation and the general cost of living.

However, the government assured citizens that steps are being taken to address the situation and provide some relief as efforts continue to stabilise the economy.
