A video making rounds online has captured a brief tense moment between Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola and influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa at a recent public event.
The incident reportedly occurred at the Miss Fair & White Beauty Pageant, held at the Civic Center on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, as part of a celebration marking 30 years of beauty and radiance.
In the viral clip, Wumi Toriola was seen warmly greeting colleagues, including Ini Edo and Eniola Ajao. However, the atmosphere changed when Enioluwa approached her and addressed her simply as “Wumi.”
The actress appeared displeased with the casual greeting and questioned why he did not use a respectful title. The moment became briefly tense before Enioluwa quickly apologised and addressed her as “Aunty Wunmi,” easing the situation.
Speaking in Yoruba, Wumi stressed the importance of respect, while Enioluwa responded calmly, even joking that her reaction had startled him. The exchange soon turned friendly, with both of them smiling.
During their interaction, Enioluwa also praised her achievements, while Wumi revealed that she is currently studying for a law degree (LLB).
The moment ended on a light note, as Wumi playfully asked him to prostrate in greeting and later offered prayers for him, drawing smiles from other guests at the event.
The video has since sparked reactions online, with many viewers commenting on respect, culture, and humour in celebrity interactions.
