Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has responded to ongoing claims that he is underrated in the movie industry, saying he does not agree with the opinion.
The actor explained that, based on his educational background, he feels he has achieved more than he ever expected in life and in his career.
According to him, many highly educated people, including graduates and professors, now work with him, which makes him appreciate his journey even more.
In his words:
“On a good day if we are to judge by formal education, I think I, Ibrahim Chatta, should be opening gates for people like Actor Femi Adebayo and Actor Odunlade Adekola and the rest because I didn’t go to any school, in fact I don’t even have O’level. So I am always annoyed when people say I am underrated. I think I don’t even deserve all what I have got, it’s the grace of God that I am enjoying and I am not taking it for granted. I have so many employees that are graduates, professors using my work, so why should I be tagged underrated? Though I know it’s the love some of my fans have towards me that makes them say that.”
He added that his success is purely by grace and that he is grateful for how far he has come in the entertainment industry.
Chatta also noted that while fans may say he is underrated out of love and admiration, he personally sees his achievements as more than enough and does not take them for granted.
