Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has publicly expressed gratitude to fellow actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham after being invited to feature in one of her movie projects.
The actress explained that the opportunity came during a very difficult period in her life, adding that she was deeply thankful to be remembered and called to a movie set again.
Jumoke George also revealed that she had previously met Toyin Abraham’s husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, and emotionally pleaded with him to help relay her request for acting jobs to his wife.
According to her, Toyin eventually listened and gave her the opportunity she desperately needed.
In her emotional appreciation post, she wrote:
“Nigerians pls help me thank and pray for Actress Toyin Abraham, for calling me to her movie location, she doesn’t want me to kpai of hunger.”
She added that being back on a movie set brought her relief and happiness after a challenging period.
“There was a time I saw her husband Actor Kolawole Ajeyemi and I cried to him that he should help me tell his wife to call me for job and she listened, today I am on her movie location. God bless Toyin abundantly.”
Her heartfelt message has since sparked emotional reactions online, with many Nigerians praising Toyin Abraham for supporting a veteran actress and showing kindness within the movie industry.
