Nigerian socialite Yhemolee has spoken out about the rising cost of living in Nigeria, saying everyday expenses in the country now feel more expensive than what he experiences abroad.
He explained that living in Nigeria has become financially challenging, especially when compared to his time in the United States, where he believes spending was more manageable and less stressful.
According to him, prices of goods and services in Nigeria continue to rise, making daily life more expensive for residents. He noted that even basic spending now requires more money than before.
Yhemolee expressed his frustration in a viral remark, saying:
“Nigeria is very expensive oh. Make Nna no dey use mumu eyes dey look Naija oh. Here cost too oh. I spend more money here than I do in America oh, chineke na.”
His comments have sparked conversations online, as many Nigerians continue to express concern over the increasing cost of living, inflation, and the financial pressure faced by citizens in their daily lives.
