In a video making the rounds on social media, the singer revealed that the fire affected parts of his face, including his lips, as well as his left hand. According to him, he deliberately chose not to post about the incident online because he did not want to make it public.
Kehinde explained that the fire was not a spiritual attack. According to him, everyone is facing one challenge or another, either medically or spiritually, and he appealed to his fans to keep him in their prayers as he continues to recover.
The gospel singer also addressed comments from people who blamed the incident on his alleged alcohol consumption. According to him, alcohol had nothing to do with the fire, stressing that such claims were false.
Speaking about his recent weight loss, Kehinde said it was caused by his health and not alcohol. He recalled that after the death of his twin brother, Taiwo, many people body-shamed him because they felt his stomach was too big and advised him to lose weight. According to the singer, he has since lost weight because of his health, but he emphasized that he is not sick.
He concluded by thanking everyone who has shown concern and once again assured his supporters that he is in good medical condition, asking them to continue remembering him in their prayers.
