The wife of late singer Destiny Boy has penned an emotional tribute to her husband as she marked his posthumous birthday.
Taking to her social media page, she remembered the singer with heartfelt words, expressing that although his absence continues to hurt, her love for him remains as strong as ever.
Celebrating what would have been his birthday, she wrote, “Happy Birthday in Heaven, my love. The pain of missing you never fades, but neither does the love. Forever in my heart.”
Her touching message highlighted the deep bond they shared and showed how much the late singer continues to mean to her months after his passing.
Destiny Boy, whose real name was Afeez Adeshina, died on January 17, 2026, at the age of 22. His death initially raised questions, leading to a police investigation and an autopsy to determine the cause.
The autopsy later revealed that he died from aspiration pneumonitis linked to the ingestion of toxic substances, with harmful levels of drugs reportedly found in his system.
Despite the tragedy, his wife’s emotional tribute serves as a reminder of the love and memories they shared, as she continues to honour his legacy and keep his memory alive.
