May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has paid an emotional tribute to late actor Alex Ekubo, expressing deep sadness over his passing.
Sharing a candlelight photo on Instagram, she described the pain of dealing with loss, saying she cannot fully explain the intense emotions that come with the reality of death. According to her, grief often changes from moment to moment, bringing fear, sadness, anger, regret, anxiety, acceptance, peace, love, and gratitude all at once.
She wrote that it is difficult to accept the inevitable reality of life, where death eventually comes despite the emotions attached to it. May explained that people often struggle internally while trying to process such painful experiences.
In her words, she reflected on how emotions can shift constantly, sometimes from second to second, as one battles between grief and acceptance.
She concluded her tribute by wishing the late actor a peaceful rest, saying he should “journey well to eternal rest,” and adding that his impact will continue to be felt and remembered by many.
