“The Pain Is Too Much” - Yoruba Actress Omotunde Apinke Cries Out After Cancer Diagnosis

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actress Omotunde Apinke Ogundimu has made an emotional appeal to Nigerians as she battles cervical cancer.

Speaking during an interview with Biola Bayo, the actress revealed that she was diagnosed with cervical cancer after undergoing medical tests.

According to her, the pain has become unbearable, leaving her with no choice but to publicly ask for help.

Omotunde Apinke said she never imagined she would face such a serious illness. She described herself as a peaceful and easy-going person and wondered why she had to go through such a painful experience.

The actress explained that although kind-hearted people have supported her financially, her children have been carrying most of the burden. She said they have been spending all the money they earn on her treatment, putting their own lives and needs aside just to keep her alive.

Fighting back emotions, she begged Nigerians to come to her rescue, saying she only wants to recover and live a healthy life again.

In her words:

“The pain is too severe. I did these tests, and I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Why did it happen to me? I am very easy-going.

“I have reached out to people, and they have helped me. My children have been spending all their income on me, neglecting their own needs. They have put their lives on hold just to take care of me, and I thank God for blessing me with such children.

“I decided to speak out because I know some people will bully me, while others will help me.

“I want to be fine. I want to be healed. The pain is severe. I don't pray for my enemies to have cancer. Please, have mercy on me. Please, I have nobody.”

Her emotional appeal has touched many Nigerians, with fans and colleagues praying for her healing and hoping she gets the support she needs during this difficult time.
