Popular TikTok creator Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, better known as Peller, has announced new plans for his upcoming white wedding, revealing that he intends to keep the ceremony smalnl and private.
In a video shared online, the newly married content creator disclosed that his white wedding is scheduled for August 8, stressing that he wants no more than 80 to 100 guests in attendance.
Peller explained that the decision was influenced by his experience at his traditional wedding, which he said was overwhelmed by bloggers and content creators. According to him, he was surprised to see more bloggers than invited guests at the event and questioned how they gained access to the ceremony.
Expressing his frustration, Peller claimed that some people even purchased aso ebi simply to attend the wedding and create content rather than celebrate with the couple.
Determined to avoid a repeat of the situation, the TikTok star said he wants his white wedding to be an intimate occasion attended only by close family members, friends, and invited guests.
His comments have since sparked reactions on social media, with many agreeing that weddings should prioritize loved ones over excessive media attention, while others argued that the publicity surrounding his relationship naturally attracted bloggers and content creators.
