Music executive Soso Soberekon has jokingly offered singer Peter Okoye a whopping ₦500 million to take on his twin brother, Paul Okoye, in a celebrity boxing match.
Soberekon made the playful proposal at a club while Peter was also present. He displayed a message on his phone offering the huge cash prize to the singer if he agreed to step into the ring against his twin brother.
The message read:
“₦500m to fight your twin brother in a boxing match.”
However, Peter appeared uninterested in the unusual offer. Standing some distance away from Soberekon, the singer simply waved at him, seemingly dismissing the proposal.
The humorous exchange comes amid the ongoing public dispute between Peter, Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, with Peter recently making a series of allegations and revealing details about his strained relationship with his brothers.
The offer has therefore added a lighter and humorous twist to the brothers' otherwise serious and long-running family and business feud.
