Nollywood actress Omotola Ekeinde has expressed excitement following the engagement of her 25-year-old daughter, Meraiah Ekeinde.
Meraiah, a beauty model and fashion merchandiser, recently announced her engagement on social media, sharing a dreamy video from the romantic proposal and proudly showing off her engagement ring.
A week after the announcement, Meraiah gave fans a closer look at the intimate proposal. In the video, she was seen arriving at a beautifully prepared beach setting where her partner had organised a surprise for her. He eventually got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Omotola, who was clearly excited about the development, reshared the proposal video and playfully announced that her daughter was engaged and that the family now had a wedding to plan.
The actress wrote:

My twinnie is engaged!
Guess we have a wedding to plan!”
Omotola’s post attracted congratulatory messages from several colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry.
